Dog-Friendly Restaurants in London

The weather is warming up and it is time to start exploring the city again. As a dog owner it’s always a question, will Bruce be allowed in? If you are planning to head out with your canine buddy then here are a few of the top dog-friendly places in London that you can all enjoy:

Farmacy

dog-friendlyFarmacy is based in Notting Hill and is known as one of the best vegan restaurants in the city. They are also extremely accommodating towards dogs and their owners. The sign on arrival says “All dogs welcome with well-behaved owners”, a great sign for any dog owner.

Farmacy is chic, stylish and beautifully decorated. On first impressions it doesn’t strike you as a dog-friendly place but they are more than happy to find your pup a bowl and some doggie treats while you enjoy one of their great cocktails.

Farm Girl

Based at the top of Portobello Road, this cafe makes some of the most “instagram-able” lattes around. It has a really relaxed vibe and the food is great too. They cater to both vegetarians and vegans with a great selection of healthy food bowls. There is also a large bowl of dog treats by the front door and the staff might even pay more attention to your pooch than to you.

Kingly Court

This courtyard can be found just off Carnaby Street. The courtyard has several different restaurants around it with an undercover seating area in the middle. There is a large selection of places to choose from including raman at Shoryu, pizza at Pizza Pilgrims and everything else in between. If you are looking for something more relaxed then this is the place to go.

Greenwich Tavern

If you find yourself south of the river and looking for a pub lunch then the Greenwich Tavern is the perfect venue after a long walk around Greenwich Park. Situated at the corner of the park, this pub will happily accept dogs even if they are on the slightly muddy side. Serving a traditional British pub menu it’s the ideal place to grab a Sunday roast or simple fish & chips.

The MaE Deli

Created by blogger “Deliciously Ella”, the MaE Deli now has two London locations. The original is on Seymour Place near Marble Arch and the newer, larger cafe is on Weighhouse Street behind Bond Street station. The menu is based on recipes from Ella’s cookbooks and there is always a great selection of dishes. Choose four different options of hot or cold food to make up a bowl and follow it up with one (or more) of the many delicious treats on offer. Both cafes are happy for you to bring in your fur baby for treats too.

Starbucks

If it’s just a quick snack and coffee you are looking for then Starbucks has always been pretty accommodating. There is one on almost every corner and they are happy to accept well-behaved dogs as well as well-behaved owners.
