Attention all London men who are looking for hugely-discounted quality clothes. Menswear brands Private White V.C. and Thom Sweeney are hosting a four-day sample sale in London from Thursday, April 6.

Private White V.C is a menswear brand that specialises in “military influenced, classic pieces for the modern man” while Thom Sweeney sells “simultaneously relaxed yet polished iconic tailoring”. Both brands are selling off “samples, seconds and recent archive items plus some hidden gems straight from our current season ranges” and will offer up to 80% off on garments such as outerwear, knitwear, trousers, suiting, shirts, accessories and shoes.

The sample sale is being held at The Box retail and event space  at the Hackney Walk shopping mall in east London. The closest Tube stations are Hackney Central and Hackney Downs. The Box is a sample sale concept which was started by former Net-A-Porter employee Natalie Basrawy. It hosts premium events throughout the year, such as sample sales like this week’s, workshops, launches and exhibitions. Hackney Walk is London’s first luxury outlet mall and hosts fashion brands such as Burberry, Pringle of Scotland, Matches Fashion, Zadig & Voltaire and a Nike outlet. All outlet retailers offer up to 70% off goods.

The Private White V.C offering will see handmade English clothes such as a lightweight jacket that usually retails between £300 and £1,000. Private White V.C is based in Mayfair and is a quintessential British clothing brand with a price point to match. The Box’s sample sale will see top-quality pieces selling for much cheaper prices than you could find anywhere else. Thom Sweeney offers similar quality products but focuses more on bespoke pieces which are handmade for each customer. They also offer made-to-measure suits which are somewhere between a bespoke handmade suit and a ready-to-wear suit. The price of a Thom Sweeney item can range between £200 and £600, so the discount of up to 80% will see a huge price reduction of very well made products. Mark the dates April 6 -9 on your calendar to shop for wonderfully made English menswear at dramatic price reductions.

The sale is open 11am-8pm Thursday and Friday, then 10am-7pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday.
