Docastaway comfort-mode vacations offer a luxurious stay at our remote retreats. Choose from villas, eco-resorts or rooms in one of our mini-hotels on some of the world’s most faraway islands, selected for natural beauty and peace. We have an all-inclusive package where you can rejuvenate with our organic and gastronomic health food while you enjoy the relaxation. Our fresh fish delights will have you licking your fingers.

We take you to your selected destination by speedboat or aircraft. The focus of these trips is your comfort, so they come complete with electricity, running water, spa facilities and wi-fi connection.

Philippines Flora Island

Enjoy nine blissful days of complete isolation on this beautiful island resort, managed by Europeans. Rest and relax, viewing some of the best, most romantic sunsets you’ve ever seen. You’ll share the beauty and calm with other Docastawayers if you come in peak season between November and January. During the rest of the year, you can live in near complete isolation.

€85 per day includes some of the finest meals on the planet with free-flowing tea and coffee. Diving with or without an instructor, long beach walks and visits to neighbouring islands are other activities you can enjoy.

Indonesia Halo Island

For an escape while still enjoying beach activities like surfing and diving, Halo Island is ideal. You’ll meet some rare species of marine life here, and the long white beaches are ideal for taking long walks alone or with your beloved. Our brick-and-mortar bungalows along the beach are fitted out with all modern comforts. With a maximum capacity of 26 guests, chances are you will never meet a fellow Docastawayer. You may occasionally spot a fishing canoe, but your peace will remain undisturbed.

€118 per day includes the option to hire your own boat if you wish to return earlier, plus a king’s buffet spread at meal times.

Indonesia The Waterhouse

The Waterhouse offers excellent activities while you hide away from the world. You’ll live in a wooden cottage right on top of the sea. Having the sea under your feet while you bathe, relax or sleep is just one of the fabulous experiences at this remote Indonesian island resort run by Europeans. Enjoy watersports like kayaking, skiing, surfboarding and sailing in addition to birdwatching, long beach walks and trekking – all the while completely isolated from other guests.

€188 per day per person includes visits to nearby islands. During July to September, and on certain holidays, we offer six-day packages for this exhilarating experience.

Indonesia High Privacy Villa

If you’re more of a castaway than a vacationer, this secluded villa fitted with all modern amenities is the best destination for you. The villa is part of a large resort where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of natural coral reefs and savour the excellent restaurant menu. Each villa has one bedroom, lounge and private pool. Snorkelling, diving, kayaking, paddle-boating and swimming with sharks are on hand if you get bored.

April to October is the ideal season, peaking in August. €155 per day includes your stay, transportation, and snorkelling and diving equipment.

Philippines Hidden Beach Villa

This is a tiny little beach on a remote island where we have built a cosy little villa just for you. Go it alone, as a couple or even in groups of up to three small families (six adults with four kids).

You’ll have your own private beach lit up all night for nine nights at just €152 per day. Plus all the usual activities like diving, surfing, paddle-boating and the services of a guide.

Although it’s best to visit this island from November to June, it’s open all year round.

Indonesia The Blue Lagoon

Imagine being completely surrounded by blue waters and coral reefs. You’re on a beach lounge terrace with long hours to dream away – with your beloved or on your own. This private paradise is completely secluded in an uninhabited nook of Indonesia. It offers a unique combination of adventure and comfort. You will have a cosy bed in a small wooden cottage without electricity. At night, the only light is from flare torches. Our guides will happily bring you meals from a nearby restaurant or you can catch and cook your own. Apart from the reefs and natural beauty, absolute isolation is the best attraction of this destination.

Enjoy complete privacy for just €185 per day, including transportation and accommodation. If so much seclusion becomes wearying, you can combine this package with a visit to a nearby resort. Open April to November.

Indonesia Get Together

With tents, babysitters and a load of fun-filled activities, this is the ideal place to celebrate as a group. Enjoy weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, promotions or anything else with your own private group of family and friends. Wonderful wooden cabanas are available for those who wish to rest. While others can revel on sandy beaches fitted with a bar, barbecue and karaoke. There is also a secluded pool if you or your guests want to take a dip. Your celebrations will be completely private, undisturbed by other tourists or Docastawayers.

We have fitted out the island with 10 huge cabanas where you can accommodate your group. This package offers complete isolation for your group, with no outside contact other than staff ready to serve you.

Advance arrangements can be made for wedding or birthday cakes, or any other culinary items. Along with R&R and celebrations, enjoy snorkelling, skin diving, excursions to nearby islands, kayaking, fishing, sailing, jet-skiing, volleyball and billiards. Take in a movie at the mini-cinema or just enjoy a bonfire. We have fitted out a gym so you can maintain your fitness regime, then have a relaxing massage.
